Users review: I saw him only a small indie theater in Heidelberg, Germany, and I have to say that this tomfoolery. My humble opinion is that the film manages to be both Wes Anderson's funniest pictures so far, and his most melancholy. Filter uncompromising elegance of his other work is present here, perhaps even increased, but unlike Life Aquatic (and, to some extent, Darjeeling Limited), here the emphasis is firmly on the plot. Bold and often bizarre visual never overwhelm the story and the audience can feel like they are not quite in on the joke, as is Life Aquatic. Show a little shaky prone, especially in the last third of the film seems to want to pack up and Anderson so much in every frame of the film may be a bit cartoonish at times (that is not a perfect score from me). Finally, although the story is very well balanced and has a great rhythm. Two young men are excellent contacts and a bold move to set up Anderson unknown actors front and center well worth it. Rest of the paper, and put stars like Royal Tenenbaums, yet Anderson never steers unnecessary character development just come to their characters. Touch screen and there's more than enough to paint a group of people who are eerily similar to his dissatisfaction with his life, and yet react very differently to the two lovers line (literally) of happiness. Generally, you see Anderson fans and recommended for everyone else. |
