Users review: MATCH resentment: Three stars (out of five) icons movie Sylvester Stallone and Robert De Niro (who last appeared on screen together in the 1997s COP base) star in this film about boxing former champions a box that decision last 30 years have fought together in a championship game tiebreaker was supposed to take place. The film of course was titled Rocky VS. Raging Bull thirty years later, probably more tickets sold. If it is its a comedy drama film decent boxing and that's what everyone should expect, it will (no more, no less) Stallone plays. Henry razor and De Niro plays Billy The Kid McDonnen. Theyre both boxers retired Pittsburgh held the other for the title and won a battle against each other. They are supposed to be a tiebreaker game thirty years earlier retirement, but Razor night before the big fight. Razor kid fight, and since then, a boxing promoter named Dante Slate, Jr (Kevin Hart), the son of the promoter that children razor and previous battles organized, set a new match between two children obviously jumped at the chance. Razor is (obviously) not the idea at first, largely because the child was sleeping with his ex-girlfriend, Sally Rose (Kim Basinger), thirty years tô t before the fight canceled. Due to financial difficulties Razor agrees to battle. Alan Arkin co-stars in the film as the old razors and coach Jon Bernthal (The Walking Dead fame) plays children son (and Sally) he never knew. The film is full of your usual clichés? Drama and boring, but it is funny and lots of fun. If you are not interested in a fight between Rocky and Raging Bull, saw some thirty years later, that this is not the movie for you, but I like the idea thereof and to get what I pay for. Stallone and De Niro are both great in the film (and looks like they have a lot of fun doing it) and the support team are decent as well. Peter Segal (who also directed films such as Tommy Boy, Anger Management, 50 First Dates and Get Smart) does a decent job and run the script (by Doug Ellin, Tim Kelleher and Rodney Rothman is sufficient). Of course, it was not a great movie, but it's not bad, and it is certainly a fun.Watch our movie review show to talk very FILM: http:// www.youtube.com/watch?v = D4Q1b3lZ2TY |
