| Users review: As a fan of both Star (Arnold Scwarzenegger) and director (Kim Jee Woon) I'm happy with this film. The Last Stand is the American debut of director Kim Jee Living and first Scwarzenegger not cameo role since T3. The movie is actually really good because it looks good, fast with a good amount of bloody action. The tone is serious enough, but still has a good amount of tongue in cheek humor and the usual Arnie linings. Arnold plays a sheriff in a small southwestern town and defender said the city against an army of drug runners who want their escaped drug lord back to Mexico.Good supporting cast with Forest Whitaker and escort Luis Guzman.Johnny Knoxville screen is minimal and thankfully not the ruin film. I found The Last Stand is a very enjoyable movie, as well as the best film Arnold made in a long time. I hope the film does well because it's a good movie and a strong comeback for Arnie and large U.S. debut of Kim Jee Living. |
