Users review: Im a sucker for William Shakespeare though I want to make it better in the theater. This one, however, kept my attention and seems to do a job which Mori modernize the entire family quarreling. The film will start out with a street brawl between Montegues and Capulets. The Prince Forewarns them if they are ever in a life of peace again will pay the forfeit of the peace. Then, we are introduced to the characters Romeo was Leonardo DeCaprio. They have a great job as Romeo, but because Leo is a great actor in this film. Not long after we were introduced to Juliet to Claire Danes was the beautiful, is not someone I have seen too many movies. Danes great job playing the flirty Juliet. The film follows the original script is very accurate. The symbolism is also used throughout the film very well. If you look at the gun you will notice that some say sword, rapier say some, and I believe some of our rats. The Montegues always wear Hawaiian shirt styles. The Capulets dress more like mobsters or thugs even if both sides can be seen as thugs in one form or another. In any case each family belonged to a certain type of clothing that makes it easy to tell who's who. There is much I really love the party. Juliet is Romeo angel wings and her outfit his knights. Romeos best friend (and I wish I could spell his name but I'd rather not butcher) dresses up as a woman. So to explain this form of symbolics, those who are not getting it, so Romeo is the knight in shinning armor, Juliet is the angel of dream Romeos and Romeos best friend is the comic relief. Theres other things you will notice the party as well, such as Tybalt with devil horns (ie it's a villain). Both families'll also noted the rich, also follow the script exactly. In general, if you're Shakespeare fan, a fan of romantic movies, tragic movie fans, or fans of art films and then be sure to look for this one. It will sweep you off you feet, make you laugh, make you cry, and make you fall in love. |
