| Users review: NOT THE TRAILER not look! or at least try not to. I went into this film knowing only the title and the fact that I was waiting for a scary movie to really ... yep scary. Well I was lucky, because Sinister is exactly that ... Sinister enough! I said trying to avoid it if you can because pretty much shown, although having said that you can be included in the film as the trailer you will forget what you have seen and still terrified, BOO! :) All the actors do a good job, Ethan Hawke solid, not quite sure about the chemistry between him and his wife, but I think it is almost irrelevant in this film. The directing and editing films are slick with interesting angles and shots. Great picture and so are you anxious moments, even if it contains some horror Clich? S.The plot is simple and follows the true-crime writer Ellison (Ethan Hawke) as he discovers a box of home movies found footage of the murder that brings her family in danger. Some people may not like the beliefs of the ethos of the film revolves around the protagonist evil, but I found the original mythology created here, it adds something new to the table. If the film is successful (im guessing maybe) Bagoul aka Evil Characters will no doubt be a new item to the store Halloween! While not a game changer in the genre, I would go easy and say this is the scariest movie and if not, that's just a win-win for all of us!
